Can't Get Something out of Something if you Do Nothing

There's an old adage that says you can't get something from nothing.

The adage is true, unless you're God, who created the universe out of nothing.

Trouble is, none of us are God, and therefore, if you want to bring forth a harvest, you must plant seeds. You must first have something, and then you must do something, faithfully believing that God has the power to bring forth a harvest.

Again though, your seeds did not just pop into your possession. God gave them to you, whether you were born with them or you acquired them. Once you possess your seeds, the question then becomes, What are you going to do with them?

The Parable of the Talents, featured in the Gospel According Matthew, reveals the proper stewardship over your gifts. Three servants were given dominion over their master's money. One received five; another two; the other one. The first servant doubled his from five to ten. The second servant doubled his from two to four. However, the third simply buried it out of fear, and did not increase what he originally was given.

When the master returned, he dubbed the first two servants as good and faithful, but scolded the third as wicked and slothful.

Every person has a gift. The question is What are you going to do with your gift?

If you have a desire to reap a harvest from a business opportunity, then be ready to invest what God has given you. Don't just bury your gift and desire out of fear. Get out there and do something about it, keeping in mind that your gifts ultimately belong to God, and if it is His will, then you will reap a harvest after you have planted and cultivated.

You can't create something out of nothing. That's a given.

What is sad though is that you can't create something out of something if you do nothing.
